Tehran reports attacking a US naval base in Bahrain, as Iran launched strikes across the region in retaliation for a large-scale and ongoing assault against it by the United States and Israeli forces.

Officials reported wreckage fell on a populated district in Abu Dhabi, resulting in some material damage and the death of one civilian.

The United States Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the Emirati Air Force.
